Key activities include coordinating with UN agencies, NGOs, and other partners; managing information through services like ReliefWeb and HDX; managing funding mechanisms such as CERF; advocating for people in need; and contributing to policy development”

International Rescue Committee:

“The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is a global humanitarian aid, relief, and development nongovernmental organization that helps people affected by the world’s worst crises, including conflict, persecution, and natural disaster. Founded in 1933 at the request of Albert Einstein, the IRC provides emergency aid and long-term assistance to refugees and displaced individuals in more than 40 countries and in cities across the U.S. and Europe
The IRC’s mission is to help people survive, recover, and rebuild their lives, with a particular focus on the unique needs of women and girls.”

CARE International:

“CARE International is a leading global humanitarian organization that works in over 120 countries to save lives, defeat poverty, and achieve social justice. Founded in 1945, it is one of the largest and oldest humanitarian aid organizations, known for pioneering the original “”CARE Package””

Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe (DKH):

Vision Hope International VHI:

“Vision Hope International e.V. (VHI) is an independent, non-profit German humanitarian and development organization that operates in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, including Yemen, Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon.
VHI’s mission is to empower local communities to recover from conflict and poverty by providing emergency relief embedded in long-term integrated development programs. They work with local communities and authorities to create sustainable solutions that promote peace and improve the standard of living for vulnerable populations.”

INPNGO / PMRSternational:

“PMRS was founded in 1979 by a group of Palestinian doctors and health professionals seeking to supplement the decayed and inadequate health infrastructure caused by years of Israeli military occupation. In the years prior to the Intifada for Independence, PMRS made a significant contribution to the creation of a Palestinian national health infrastructure, replacing the fragmented health system inherited from years of Israeli occupation.

HIMAYA DAEEM AATAA:

“Himaya Daeem Aataa (HDA) is a national non-profit organization based in Zgharta, North Lebanon. It is registered under the number 1674 and its interventions cover all of Lebanon, supporting vulnerable populations of various nationalities including Lebanese, Syrian refugees, Palestinian, and Iraqi communities.
Mission is to promote social, economic, and rural development in Lebanon and the region, and to help build a responsible civil society that advocates for democratic values, justice, pluralism, and moderation”

Bothoor ALkhaer organization for Relief and Development:

Nabd Development and Evolution Organization:

The Lotus Flower:

The Lotus Flower is a women-led, non-governmental organization (NGO) that supports women and girl conflict survivors in the Kurdistan region of northern Iraq. Founded in 2016 by child genocide survivor Taban Shoresh, the organization helps vulnerable women and girls rebuild their futures by providing safe spaces and programs focused on healing, learning, and growth.

Concern Worldwide:

Concern Worldwide is one of Ireland’s leading international humanitarian organisations. Founded in Ireland in 1968, we  strive for a world free from poverty, fear and oppression.

Takaful Al Sham:

We also provide, Education, Protection and Power to Women, Youth and Adolescents through scientific methodologies and innovation, while equipping generations for a sustainable future.”

Caritas M.O.N.A.:

Medical Mercy Foundation:

“Medical Mercy Foundation (MMF) is a national non-governmental humanitarian organization based in Sana’a, Yemen, founded in 2004. It is primarily composed of volunteer doctors and health workers.
Mission: The most available to serve the most needy.
The Foundation aspires to be the most Humanitarian institution to serve the neediest social groups. Here, the institution makes poor and needy people the priority in its humanitarian and charitable work. Poverty and need are expanding day by day, so the focus will be on the neediest groups.”

Ihsan Relief and Development:

It is a service-oriented organization that provides emergency and resilience-based services to men, women, and children across various sectors and geographic areas throughout Syria

HelpAge International:

“HelpAge International is a global non-profit organisation that works to improve the lives of older people around the world. We work through the HelpAge global network, an alliance of organisations committed to the wellbeing, dignity and voice of older people.
The organisation was founded in 1983, and the global network has 199 global members in 98 countries.
Our mission is to promote the rights and well-being of older people, and to help them live dignified and fulfilling lives. Through our work we address the challenges faced by older people, such as poverty, social isolation, and discrimination. We also advocate for policies and programmes that support the rights of older people, and provide support to local organisations and communities working with older people.”

STAAR/ FCDO:

“Social Protection Technical Assistance, Advice, and Resources Facility. This facility is a key initiative of the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) aimed at improving social protection in crisis settings and promoting gender equality.
Funded by FCDO, GIZ, and DFAT, the SPACE service provided rapid technical support to governments, donors, and implementing partners in over 30 countries during the COVID-19 crisis. Its expert team produced seminal guidance and frameworks that continue to shape the sector — paving the way for what would become STAAR.
We exist to help governments, development partners, and humanitarian actors expand and improve investments in social protection – making them more gender-responsive, inclusive, and crisis-ready. Through technical assistance, advice, and practical resources, we support efforts to design and adapt systems that meet people’s needs, respond to shocks, and contribute to lasting change.”

Dorcas:
