The Yemen Nexus Initiative (YNI), in partnership with Abs Development Organization, the Yemen Women Leaders Network, and Generations Without Qat Organization, successfully concluded the Nexus Approach Training Program – Batch Eight, held from 7–11 September 2025 via Microsoft Teams.

A total of 136 participants representing NGOs, women-led organizations, youth networks, private sector actors, and community groups took part in the training.

The program covered:

🔹 Foundations of the Humanitarian–Development–Peace (HDP) Nexus
🔹 Stakeholder coordination and partnership building
🔹 Quality programming and financing mechanisms
🔹 Climate change and advocacy
🔹 Area-based approaches and strategic integration

Key Outcomes:

  • Strengthened understanding of the Nexus approach among participants
  • Enhanced collaboration and networking across sectors
  • Strong participation of women reinforcing leadership in integrated programming
  • Increased motivation to integrate Nexus principles into project design and advocacy

This training is part of YNI’s national strategy to train 1,000 practitioners who will champion the Nexus approach across Yemen.
